As part of its development and for its next ambitious productions, QUANTIC DREAM is expanding its R&D team.

Working in our R&D department in daily contact with the managers and all the teams involved in game development, you will be responsible for ensuring consistency between game versions as well as the following:

  • Checking the content of game builds deliverables / project for each game / project under development.
  • Managing the various build systems associated with game building.
  • Consulting the various departments / services wishing to supply their deliverables in order to produce a comprehensive list of them.
  • Working closely with Production / Producers, determine what changes can be taken into account in the game build.
  • Using internal tools, but also Perforce, managing the integration of changes approved in the projects.
  • Managing branches, cross-integrations, and integrations specific to the various projects developed and on the different target platforms.
  • Managing Farm (re-export requirements), the generation of builds and code integration in project branches, whilst overseeing the production of developments / Gameplay code and their deployment in the build.

You will work under the direction of our DTE Lead (= Debug & Test Environment) and in close collaboration with production teams regarding priority tracking, to improve the quality of our creations.

You will need to be constantly aware of the status of the game developed and be capable of submitting precise and regular reports to Production / project management and to the CTO / technical director.

 

 

Required skills

  • You have similar previous experience and be familiar with the production pipeline for video games.
  • You are a very good communicator and have strong relationship skills, a positive professional attitude, effective verbal and written communicator.
  • You are a well-organized self-starter;
  • Adaptability, rigor and reliability
  • Ability to assimilate and synthesize a lot of information coming from all the departments / services involved in the production of a video game.
  • An interest in contributing to improving the release management system in terms of tooling would be an advantage.
  • You are dynamic, methodical, committed, and responsive.
  • You are inquisitive and open to others; you particularly enjoy working in a team.
  • Good knowledge of Perforce server administration would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Python would be an advantage; as would knowledge of Jenkins and/or TeamCity.
  • Proficiency in English would be an advantage.
